PELVIC FLOOR/ URINARY INCONTINENCE
Many women and transgender people suffer from pelvic floor or bladder weakness. This topic is often shrouded in shame, which is why many years often pass before the distress becomes so great that a medical consultation finally takes place.
The following symptoms are typical of pelvic floor weakness:
- Foreign body sensation in the vagina
- Involuntary loss of urine
- Inability to empty the bladder completely
- Pressure in the lower abdomen
Both conservative and surgical treatment options are available, which often result in rapid improvement of symptoms and a significant improvement in quality of life.
